Castletroy Hockey Club

Castletroy Hockey Club is a new hockey club launched in September 2019. We are based at the hockey pitch near UL Arena in Castletroy.

We are currently looking for new members and coaches. We are taking membership places for girls and boys aged between 5 to 14.

Hockey Open Days

We are running two open days on Sunday the 1st of March and Sunday the 22nd of March. 10.30am - 11.30am for primary school children and 11.30am - 12.30pm for children in 1st or 2nd year. This is a fantastic opportunity for new players to come down and try hockey for free. For existing members, they are encouraged to invite a friend and join them at the open day.

The open day will consist of an introduction into hockey, including holding the stick, dribbling and passing. Some fun related hockey games and and a game of hockey to finish. Prizes will also be given out on the day!

Any child who will be in primary school or 1st or 2nd year from September 2020 is invited to come along and give hockey a try. Simply bring a gum shield and shin pads - we will have hockey sticks available on the day.

To register your interest in the open day, simply enter in your email address below, and we will send you an email closer to the time with full details:
